Here is Anna and Owen the morning the new addition to our home arrived. This baby grand piano now being loved and cared for by the Eshelman family. Anna already wants to learn to play it; and Owen has to be told to leave it alone! It is not a drum!Thursday, May 17, 2007

Hey, as long as they just use their hands, they won't hurt it! A pianist (Loretta can probably back me up here) puts more strength into the keys than a child's hands. We have a rule at our house that ONLY the hands touch the keyboard, and the keyboard cover (is there a technical term?) is NEVER to be touched, especially when up. We have a small studio grand, btw. Have fun with your new addition!
